People who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones that do.

I had a great weekend. It's contained a lot of relaxing and hanging out with friends. Yesterday I went to the beach and got sunburnt. This is definitely a first for the middle of October. Today I went to this great church called Solid Rock and worshipped with friends. A guy from my DTS got baptized in the ocean and a bunch of us went to support him. It was really neat. Tonight I enjoyed just being goofy with friends. I am loving it here. And I love my new friends who are quickly becoming like family. I am convinced that they are the main reason why I haven't really gotten homesick yet.

Last week 2 brothers, Tre and Trent Shepard spoke to all the DTS classes combined all week. Their teaching was pretty awesome. They spoke a lot about the kingdom of God and about the humanity of Jesus. One day Tre was teaching about how we as believers should want to see restoration not just revival. Revival should be part of it but restoration should be our goal. God wants the world to be like it was at creation...beautiful. When we look at the world we should look at it the way it could be, not the way it is. This is such a crazy concept. I am really trying to look at the world with this new perspective. I wanna look at the world through God's eyes and at the way it could be and try to make it look like that.

I am learning that I can change the world.
